Antonio Bid rejected

According to news reports from the BBC to Nottingham newspapers, Nottingham Forest have rejected a £4m bid + Jarvis. Would love tot ell you more about him but I've not got a clue on his ability.

The thing is any team who have a decent player to sell at this stage have all the power. Prices rocket especially when PL team come calling. Why wouldn't you ?
If we really rate him and I'm not sure he fits the bill for Bilic then pay £6M/£7M for him. Forget Jarvis (unless they really want him)

He's saying his attributes suit that division
I rang him he said power and pace not enough in a wide player in the perm, you need skill and technical ability to beat defenders not rely on power

He's one of our best players with loads of power and speed but absolutely no skill of control he just power and bundles past people. In my opinion nowhere near good enough for the prem. Normally if he's up against anyone half decent he goes missing because he hasn't got any tricks and they can match him for pace. I'll be very surprised if he can cut it in the Prem but looks good in the league he is in.

I suppose a lot depends on whether this bloke wants to come or not, how much of a stink he kicks up.
My Sheff Weds mate reckons he's lightening but can't pass or cross. Maybe he's improved at Forest

It's got nothing to do with the price. That's the players valuation in their eyes at this point in time for any team. It's the timing more than anything A8. You leave it this late you either pay, or take a chance on someone of a lot lower quality which we have done numerous times down the years, eg Borriello, Chamakh etc
